CONSIGN YOUR 💎 WITH US
Terra Firma Consignment Program ✨
Have jewelry or collectible pieces you’d like us to sell? We’d love to take a look! Here’s how our consignment program works.
📸 1. Getting Started
DM our Facebook Page or e-mail support@terrafirmaimports.com photos of the items you’d like to consign.
For jewelry, we currently accept:
All silver items must be 925 sterling silver.
Once we review your photos, we’ll let you know which pieces may be a good fit and where we think they’ll sell best.
🛍️ 2. Where We Sell
Terra Firma currently sells through:
The Vault is reserved for select higher-end, collectible or special pieces that receive a permanent listing on our website.
Other items may be better suited for our Whatnot live auctions.
Before you send your pieces, we’ll discuss where we believe each item belongs. We may also ask for permission to move an item between sales channels when we think another platform gives it a better opportunity to sell.
Our sales channels may change over time as Terra Firma continues to grow. 🚀
💻 3. Your Consignor Portal
Once you send items to Terra Firma, you’ll need to register for your Consignor Portal.
Your portal helps you keep track of:
Please keep your information current, especially your PayPal account details.
⚠️ If your PayPal information changes, please message Terra Firma directly through Facebook or email support@terrafirmaimports.com.
Updating your Portal alone may not immediately alert our team, so please contact us directly whenever your payment information changes.
💸 4. Getting Paid
Payouts are made through PayPal on the 15th of the month following the sale.
If the 15th falls on a weekend or non-business day, payment will be made on the next business day.
Example:
If your items sell on May 1, May 15 and May 30, your payout for those sales will be sent on June 15.
You may begin consigning before opening a PayPal account, but we cannot issue your payout until an active PayPal account is provided.
💎 5. How We Price Your Items
We want to find a price that is both fair and realistic.
Terra Firma may review:
We may also use AI-assisted research tools to help identify comparable pieces and market pricing.
Because consigned items are being resold, pricing will generally reflect the secondary market, even when an item has never been worn.
Before listing your pieces, we’ll agree on whether:
✨ Terra Firma can price items on your behalf, or
✨ You’d like to approve prices before they are listed.
If you prefer to approve every individual price, please keep in mind that listings may take a little longer to go live.
📦 6. Shipping Your Items
Inbound Shipping
Consignors are responsible for all shipping costs associated with sending items to Terra Firma.
Item Recall / Return Shipping
If you decide to have an unsold item returned to you, you are responsible for the applicable return shipping costs.
⏳ 7. Minimum Consignment Period
Because we invest time in photographing, researching, listing and promoting each piece, all consigned items must remain with Terra Firma for a minimum of 60 days.
After the 60-day period, you may request the return of any unsold items. Applicable return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Consignor.
🤝 8. Commission
Our standard consignment split is simple:
You receive 50% of Net Sales. Terra Firma receives 50%.
Certain selling platforms charge transaction or marketplace fees.
Facebook Live
Applicable Facebook/payment processing fees are generally absorbed by Terra Firma unless otherwise noted.
Whatnot
Whatnot currently charges marketplace and transaction fees. Applicable Whatnot fees are deducted before the remaining Net Sale is split 50/50 between the Consignor and Terra Firma.
The Terra Firma Vault
Vault pieces may be offered across any of Terra Firma’s active sales channels, including Facebook, Whatnot and our website.
Depending on where an item sells, the sale may appear either under Orders or in a sales report available under the Documents section of your Consignor Portal.
Sales reports for a given month will be uploaded no later than the end of that month.
❤️ One Last Thing
Our goal is simple: to find the right buyer for your pieces while making the consignment process as easy as possible.
We’ll work with you to decide what to consign, where to sell it and how to position it for the best opportunity to find a new home. DM our page on Facebook and chat directly with Edu for more info!
